MK Music Service

Milton Keynes Music Service, part of BLMK Music Hub, is offering schools the opportunity to refresh their school percussion instrument supply.

This is funded through a Capital Grant awarded to Hubs by the DfE.

Initially schools already engaging with the Hub will be given priority, but all schools should get the chance to acquire some instruments by the end of the Capital Grant period.

All Schools Please Note:

• The Hub Lead Organisation will remain the owner of the instruments throughout their usable life.
• The school will be responsible for storing and repairing instruments in their care for at least 3 years.
• The school will be responsible for replacing lost instruments
• After the initial 3 year period, instruments can only be returned to the hub with 3 months notice
• Instruments will be subject to an annual audit to ensure that they are being maintained appropriately.
